Oh, Boise Idaho. How I adore you and all you have to offer, however the lack of salons and stylists specializing in coils and curls leaves a lot to be desired. That is where the curly mavens at 21 North come in to play.
Page after page, post after post, all I am seeing is blonde hair with some instagram baddie waves in them. Although absolutely stunning and great work done by the artists, there is a whole demographic of hair missing. I could not imagine being someone with a curl pattern anywhere from 3A-4C moving into the area and searching for a salon or stylist that caters or specializes in coils.
At 21 North, we are the bridge that will bring you over into a pampering and luxurious salon experience, (without being intimidating,) delivering expert care and knowledge on how to make your curls and coils shine. What differs from 21 North is we offer custom textured cuts designed to fit your lifestyle and wishes, as well as a deep conditioning treatment tailored to your needs. We also offer set and styles to last you through the week and elongate the time needed to re-style. Our favorite styles being flat twists (minimal volume, with hair elongation, great for transitioning hair, 3B-4C) or two strand twists (slightly more volume, and less elongation, but more individual definition, 3B-4C.)

Our Mavens are constantly learning new techniques and skills to offer you modern and inventive ways to switch up your hair color, whether it is bringing some bright blonde into your look, or turning you into Ariel. All while still maintaining optimum hair health.
During every curly and coily service our stylists will go over the techniques and products we use and how we use them to tailor your personal look. Getting to know your hair and the history behind it, will help us, to help you recreate the look at home.
